An unmissable stop is the Alta Via della Valmalenco, over 100 kilometers of itinerary divided into eight stages that connects numerous refuges and almost always above 2000 meters above sea level. The views it offers are breathtaking with some of the most incredible panoramic points of the whole territory such as the Chiareggio area, where you can spot marmots in the wild, the alpine lake Palù. Among the largest lakes in Valtellina, the Campomoro dams, a privileged point for sport fishing, and the most evocative glaciers in the Alps, the Disgrazia, the Bernina and the Scalino. Other destinations not to be missed are Lake Mufulè, at 2060 metres, in a beautiful clearing with a view of Pizzo Scalino and with a circular route suitable for families, and the Rusca Path, a 32-kilometre historical-religious itinerary that connects Sondrio to Passo of the Muretto
